Finally – the long awaited Fenty Beauty review is here! After weeks of testing, I can finally come on here and say, FENTY BEAUTY IS WORTH THE HYPE. The reviews you’ve come across are almost always positive and with good reason. The collection lives up to the inclusivity message it has stood by since day 1 and the products deliver. From coverage to color, Fenty Beauty covers all the basis and has honestly left me wanting to purchase the remainder of the collection.
The first thing on the list I purchased was the Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longer Foundation – $34 and since then I’ve tossed my go-to foundation for it. Coverage is buildable, light-weight and matches perfectly to my skin making application seamless. I do recommend hitting up a Sephora and getting color matched by one of the associates, since the formula does tends to oxidize.
The next item was the Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick in Starstruck – $25. I’ve used this as a highlighter, blush and eyeshadow which shows you just how versatile a lot of these products are. The color is stunning and gives you a subtle pop that can be worn at work or at night.
And last but not least, Gloss Bomb – $18. Honestly out of the three this has been the one I’ve used the most simply because of how easily it can take you from nah to yass. The texture is like any other lipgloss and the color comes off as a very light coral. The one complaint I have is the scent, but the gloss is so pretty that it makes up for it.
Overall I’m happy with these items and really do think that everyone should at least try one item (the foundation would be my suggestion). There’s a vast range of shades and a little something for everyone, which has quickly turned Fenty Beauty into a cult favorite.
