Oh the back to school blues. We’ve all experienced them and some of us are slowly starting to feel it creep up again with school right around the corner. Whether you’re in high school or attending college, getting ready to start a new school year is never fun, and can at times be a bit anxiety-inducing. But with every negative there’s a positive, and in this case back-to-school shopping is a major positive!
My friends at Redbubble reached out to me to create a few looks for their Back-to- School campaign, and I was immediately game. I’ve been out of college for about two years, but now as someone who doesn’t have to deal with the woes of school, I was able to appreciate the back-to-school concept so much more. The best thing about Redbubble is that they sell products with designs created by independent artists all over the world, so I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of.
Once I received all of my goodies it was time to get started. My first look featured this dope “Together” top by Michelle Borjon. With all the current political talk, it’s the perfect top to make a statement in. Of course it wouldn’t be a normal morning without a cup of coffee to get you through the day, so this chic travel mug by artist Elisabeth Fredriksson was right up my alley.
